20 years of innovation deliver the tools engineers need today
to create the products of tomorrow.
Raisonance combines innovation in both software and hardware design to offer the microelectronics industry extensive and evolving ranges of tools for microcontroller application development and smart card test and validation. Raisonance innovation is driven by our commitment to facilitate our users' access to tomorrow's component technology with tools that:
Raisonance offers a complete range of microcontroller application development products that combine software tools (C compilers, integrated development environments) with hardware tools (programmer, debuggers, emulators, evaluation boards) to provide solutions for a variety of user needs and constraints.
Raisonance was founded on its C compiler technology in 1988, which today is complemented by its unique and industry leading tools for code optimization (CodeCompressor), automatic code generation (RBuilder), application development and high-level language debugging (Ride) and device programming (RFlasher).
Tools are combined in a range of packaged solutions that are adapted to meet specific needs such as learning a new component, starting application development or fine-tuning simple or complex microcontroller applications. Each of these needs is addressed in terms of the functionality users require in the tools, the amount of assistance that they require to work with the target device and the costs they are willing to accept in terms of time and money.
Raisonance provides tool solutions for a wide and expanding range of target microcontrollers in the 8, 16 and 32-bit spaces to include:
Raisonance also provides extensive support services including online forums and hotlines, to keep in touch with our installed user base, ensure the evolution of tool functionality and ease-of-use.
In addition, Raisonance continues to work closely with industry leaders such as NXP and STMicroelectronics to ensure the evolution of device support and the creation of new tool solutions to meet specific needs for microcontroller promotion, training and application development.
Raisonance smart card tools are the fruit of both software development expertise and hardware innovations coming from the companies' System On Chip (SoC) activity, founded on the creation of Raisonance's first FPGA-based emulator. Raisonance engineering teams first combined in-house expertise and robust technology to create the ProxiLAB configurable laboratory smart card reader and Raisonance General Purpose analyzer, which have since expanded to form a complete family for validating contactless and contact smart cards and systems. Raisonance tools provide a range of solutions for diagnosing protocol level issues in smart card products, to include:
While Raisonance tools address primarily contactless smart cards, the portfolio of tools was most recently extended to contact smart cards with the creation of ContactLAB developed in a partnership with industry leader Gemalto. ContactLAB addresses traditional contact protocols (ISO 7816) with added functionality for testing of their implementation in Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled mobile handsets.
Raisonance continues to work closely with smart card industry leaders, standards organizations and certification laboratories to support new card technologies, and to offer the tool functionality that will ensure security, interoperability and quality in the smart card solutions of the future.
Raisonance was founded on innovation in the microelectronics industry. In 1988 with the first hints of an evolution towards the use of the C language in deeply embedded microcontroller applications, Raisonance fielded its first C compiler for the 8051 core architecture. In the search for the next tools that would facilitate application development led Raisonance to a number of innovations that include:
In both activities, Raisonance innovation is driven by improving the quality of tools, reducing cost and improving ease-of-use.
