Ride7 and RKit-ARM => Download the package
The RKit-ARM software toolchain includes GNU Tools (C Compiler, Assembler and Linker), Simulator/Debugger and drivers for
the STM32 (Cortex-M3), STR7 (ARM7) & STR9 (ARM9) evaluation boards and emulators. All these tools are integrated into Ride7.
Ride7
Ride7 is the new Raisonance Integrated Development Environment. It allows to manage all the
software and hardware tools for the best ease of use.
Note that Only Ride7 supports STM32 family.
GNU Tools
STM32 (Cortex-M3) GNU tools are fully integrated into Ride7, so that there is no need for makefiles or complex command lines.
Moreover, some specific libraries are provided for a better adaptation to the STM32 (Cortex-M3) microcontrollers:
- The STM32 libraries from ST allow a quick configuration and simple use of the embedded peripherals.
- The original ANSI libraries from GNU (scanf, printf, ...) have been simplified and optimized to match with
the embedded world requirements
The GNU C Compiler is reliable and very optimizing.
Simulator
Ride7 provides a simulator capable of simulating the ARM instructions set and makes it possible to check the
interaction between the application code and a peripheral before going on to debug with an in-circuit debugger as (RLink).
Drivers
USB drivers for RLink are included in the software kit.
Download RKit-ARM
In order to have a complete solution, you need the Ride7 and RKitARM kits.
They can be downloaded separately (if you want to upgrade only one of both kits),
or as a bundle called Ride7 & ARM tools.
All these downloads are available here.
Hardware Tools
RLink
In addition to the Raisonance simulator, RIDE can be used with a number of hardware debugging tools,
including the Raisonance RLink for In-Circuit Debugger & Programmer.
Two box versions are available for STM32 devices: RLink-std and RLink-Pro.
RLink-std is the standard version it allows to program without resctriction and to debug only in RAM up to 32kb (With Ride7 IDE only).
Rlink-Pro is the professional version. It allows complete programming and debugging for devices supported by Ride7.

REva
Raisonance has also developed a Universal Development Board named REva (version 3) . This board is fully managed
by Ride7 allowing to debug and program directly on it.
