The STM32 Primer is designed to provide a complete toolset for STM32
that is fun and easy to use. Give it a try and learn about the features of the STM32 and the powerful
ARM Cortex™-M3 core.
With the STM32 Primer, you can see how the applications implement STM32 features and learn how it all works using the
included Ride7 software toolset with GNU C/C++ compiler to view, modify and compile code
(unlimited) and debug up to 32K of code while it runs on the Primer.
To program and debug STM32, the Primer connects directly to your PC via a USB port.
USB connection is also used to recharge the Primer’s battery.
How to get it ?
Two version are available:
- STM32 Primer Standard
- STM32 Primer Pro
STM32 Primer Standard
This version is distributed only by ST distributors (see www.st.com/stm32).
It allows to debug up to 32K of code.
STM32 Primer Pro
This version is the same as the standard version but without In-Circuit Debugging limitation.
Two ways to get it, either by ordering it as a complete product or by ordering an upgrade from standard
to pro version (for 'STM32 Primer standard' owners only). See below "Ordering information".
