The Raisonance STR7 Professional Kits offer a complete,
flexible, and affordable software and hardware development solution for STR7 (ST ARM7) applications.
It provides real-time in-circuit debugging and programming capabilities, with all the features
needed to allow developers to create, build, and debug ST's MCU-based systems.
The RKitPSTR7 provides the perfect path to develop all your applications with the STR7 family
with no limitations: full debugging and full programming.
Note that for STR7xx-SK Starter-Kit owners, it is possible to upgrade to RKiPSTR7 Professional
Kit at a preferential price.
RKitPSTR7 includes:
- RLink-Pro In-circuit debugger and programmer (unlimited),
- REva mother board,
- RLink attached to the mother board (32KB limited debug),
- REva daughter board(s), depending on the purchased kit:
- RKitPSTR71x includes two daughter boards: STR711F-DB and STR712F-DB,
- RKitPSTR730 includes one daughter board: STR730F-DB,
- RKitPSTR750 includes one daughter board: STR750F-DB,
- universal 9V DC Power supply,
- all required cables,
- RAISONANCE software CD including RKit-STRx (for STR7 & STR9 families) with RIDE and RFlasher,
- QuickStart tutorial.

RLink Pro
RLink-Pro is the Professional version of RLink, Raisonance's versatile, very low cost,
high-performance in-circuit debugger and programmer for STRx, µPSD (8051) and ST7.
RLink, driven by the Raisonance's Integrated
Environment (RIDE), provides USB to host PC interface and connects to a user application board for
in-circuit programming/debugging thanks to the serial protocol used by the target microcontroller.
For the RKitPSTR7xx Professional Kits, Rlink-Pro allows:
- unlimited FLASH programming,
- unlimited FLASH & RAM debugging.
With the STR7 microcontrollers, RLink uses the JTAG protocol for debugging and programming
through the standard 20-point connector defined by ARM.
RLink Pro can be used with all the STRx, ST7 and uPSD devices supported by Ride, on any board
(from any manufacturer) featuring the standard connector.

The REva mother board
|
|
REva is Raisonance's Universal
Evaluation Board that allows quick, easy evaluation of a wide range of microcontrollers.
This innovative modular platform consists of a generic motherboard with interchangeable daughter boards
supporting several target microcontrollers and an embedded RLink in-circuit programmer and debugger.
The REva's key features include:
- Digital and analog I/O evaluation features including on-board LEDs, buttons,
switches, external analog connector, temperature sensor and
potentiometer,
- On-board I²C EEPROM and bus extension connector,
- On-board RS232 driver and DB9 connector,
- SPI, CAN and USB connections (depending on the target device),
- Embedded RLink for in-circuit debugging and in-circuit programming.

RKit-STRx
The free RKit-STRx software toolchain (for STR7 and STR9 families) includes GNU C Compiler, GNU Assembler,
GNU Linker, Simulator/Debugger, all integrated into the Raisonance's Integrated Development Environment (RIDE)
for the best ease of use.

Daughter Boards
The daughter boards contain all the components dedicated
to a specific target, including the microcontroller itself, a clock selector and other device
dependent features.
RKitPSTR71x
RKitPSTR71x includes two daughter boards STR711F-DB and
STR712F-DB.
RKitPSTR730
RKitPSTR730 includes one daughter board STR730F-DB.
RKitPSTR750
RKitPSTR750 includes one daughter board STR750F-DB.
Important:
The different STR7xx-DB daughter boards can be used with the REva mother board included in the ST7LITE-SK
and ST732x-SK starter-kits only with Rlink Pro. It is not possible to use them with the Rlink attached to the REva
board included in these kits due to a software restriction, while the different ST7xx-DB daughter boards
can be used with the STR7xx-SK starter kits indifferently with the RLink Pro or with the attached RLink.

Upgrade
For owners of STR7xx-SK Starter-Kits, it is possible to upgrade from the Starter-Kit to the Professional Kit for 610€, as the
standard price is 750€.
The upgrade is not done via software, so you will receive a new RLink (RLink-Pro)
as a stand alone version in plastic casing.
RKitPSTR7upgrade includes:
- RLink-Pro In-circuit debugger and programmer (unlimited),
- RAISONANCE software CD including RKit-STRx with RIDE and RFlasher.
