This intermediate-level 4-day technical training covers the STM32F4 Hi-Performance & DSP microcontrollers. It is ideally designed for participants with at least basic knowledge of ARM Cortex™-M3 core, STM32 architecture and peripherals and its development tools.

Training starts with the presentation of ARM Cortex™-M4 core and architecture on which the STM32F4 is based. This is followed by the memory organization, reset block, interrupts, low power modes and all peripherals, such as IO ports, ADC, timers, RTC, SPI, USART, I2C, CAN, USB, FSMC, I2S, SDIO and DAC.

The Cortex™-M4 features are closely reviewed (DSP and floating-point unit).

Theoretical presentations are combined with practical hands-on examples.

Part of the training focuses on the software and hardware development tools.

This training is approved by STMicroelectronics, and is in the process of certification.

The training is provided in French, but session may also be provided in English.

Next sessions

The next sessions for this training will take place in the Raisonance buildings in Montbonnot (38), France. This is close to Grenoble, in the foothills of the French Alps.

Here is some detail about the Raisonance facility.

These sessions will be in French. Some training material will be in English.

The hands-on sessions will be done using Ride7 (GCC-based ARM development tools) and REva STM32 evaluation board.
