The STR711 daughter board allows users of any REva bought as part of a starter kit for ST ARM core-based microcontrollers to evaluate STR711 features and develop applications. The device selected for the daughter board is a "super set" device with features, memory and pin count that will allow users to develop applications for most devices in the family.
The daughter board is designed specifically to be plugged into the SO-DIMM connector on a REva motherboard.
In addition to the evaluation features on the REva, the daughterboard also includes a USB mini-B connector, 4 MHz quartz and 32 KHz
