Raisonance Tools for STM32

Raisonance Hardware & Software Tools for Creating STM32 Applications

1 November 2007, Montbonnot France -- Raisonance today released a complete line of tools for creating and fine tuning applications for the new STMicroelectronics family of ARM Cortex-M3 core-based microcontrollers - the STM32.

Raisonance's software tool line is founded on the Ride7 integrated development environment, which provides an intuitive and free windows interface for coding, compiling, and debugging application software. Ride7 provides fully integrated control of the Raisonance RKit-ARM, which includes GCC C compiler for ARM and support for a complete range of STM32 devices. The GCC C compiler, which is delivered for free as an integral part of the Raisonance solution, has been carefully adapted and optimized by Raisonance to provide the best results when developing deeply embedded applications for STM32 and other families of ARM core-based MCUs. Unlimited versions of all software tools are available in for Free download.

Ride7, in conjunction with Raisonance hardware tools allows users to quickly and easily create their first applications, program them to a target STM32 device and debug the application code while it runs on the MCU. Hardware is available to meet every user need, from discovering device features to full target evaluation, to advanced debugging and programming of components. Users can quickly and easily discover STM32 capabilities with very little risk using and STM32 Primer. These promotional tools provide everything for discovering the STM32 at a very low cost, and with the support of a dedicated on line community at www.stm32circle.com. When more extensive evaluation features are required, Raisonance REva starter kits (STM32xxxx-SK) combine a more complete range of features with the flexibility of a modular platform that allows the evluation of many different target MCUs. For debugging/programming connection to a users' prototypes or final application hardware, the RLink debugger/programmer (USB/JTAG or SWD) provides a versatile, robust and cost effective solutions that is equally adapted to application debugging and programming in a production environment.
